MACBETH - LIVE!!


On Thursday 10th June at 7.30pm at Cafe Pasta, Stratford Fringe Festival will be taken down a dark path of murder and betrayal in this new adaptation of Shakespeare's 'Macbeth'. Presented by Stratford Upon Avon's own 'Tread the Boards Theatre Company'.

Tread the Boards Theatre Company are the In House Resident Company at the Attic Theatre at Cox's Yard. The company has performed to sell out audiences with performances of 'The Importance of Being Earnest' which won critical acclaim which will be taken to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival this year. 'Shakespeare in the Attic' and 'She Stoops to Conquer'.

Macbeth - Live! is a unique experience combining Shakespeare, Audience participation and a delicious 4 course meal with REAL SCARES that will have you rushing to the bar for a stiff drink of The Porter's Poison. Meet Macbeth and Lady Macbeth as they plot the downfall of King Duncan, Meet the Witches as they mix together their potions which if your unlucky enough you may have to taste. And watch as murders and sword fights take place before your eyes.

Complete with a Ghost Walk that will delve into some of the untold stories of Shakespeare and Stratford itself.

An event not to be missed, for ONE NIGHT ONLY, tickets are £25 per person which includes:

She Stoops to Conquer

Tread the Boards Theatre Company present 'She Stoops to Conquer' by Oliver Goldsmith. A restoration comedy about the mistakes of a night, at the Hardcastle's residence of Solihull.

The story unfolds when a young woman must lower her class to impress the gentleman she wishes to marry and another young couple seemed to be desinted to be parted forever. While Tony Lumpkin - the great character of the stage, plays tricks on everyone. Will all be sorted by the nights end and will we ever hear the whole story of Prince Eugene and the Duke of Marlborough?

With live music and an original prologue written exclusively for this production.

TTB offer discounted tickets for school, college and university parties over 12+ with workshops and afterdark informal chats with cast and crew.

Shakespeare in the Attic

Hiya TTB Fans!!!


Tread the Boards Theatre Company are now the NEW theatre company at the Attic Theatre at Cox's Yard Stratford Upon Avon.

We have many productions planned for 2010

On the 23rd and 24th April we will be presenting 'Shakespeare in the Attic' an exciting look into Shakespeare and to celebrate his birthday. We have put together over 40 performers performing music, speeches, scenes. Punish some criminals in 'Shakespeare on Trial, come to see the most compelling women in Shakespeare and watch the countdown to the Top 10 Greatest Shakespearian Deaths of All Time.

Also if you stay until the sun sets, Tread the Boards bring out the dark side of Stratford upon avon in 'Banquo-Live!'. a scare based attraction based on Macbeth and the murder and hauntings of Macbeths best friend Banquo.

Free entry for the festival but a donation would be greatly appreciated.

Banquo-Live!! is £3 per person.
